Young Talent Architecture Award 2018

YTAA 2018 Open Call for Schools Submissions

The Fundació Mies van der Rohe is proud to announce the second edition of Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA) to support and enhance talent of recently graduated Architects, Urban Planners and Landscape Architects who will be responsible for transforming our environment in the near future. YTAA has been enlarged with the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE) and the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE) as new partners with the Fundació Mies van der Rohe and the incorporation of China and South Korea as the Guest Countries for the YTAA 2018.

YTAA has emerged from an interest and a desire to support new talented architects as they enter into the professional world. The Winners will be supported in the creation of a professional and research network. They will also receive 5.000€ each, a profile in World Architects and furniture from USM to set their future working space. All nominated entries will become part of the online YTAA Archive and the results of YTAA 2018 will be presented in a traveling exhibition that will start its journey in Venice, at the 2018 Architecture Biennale.

We invite and encourage schools to submit their best Graduation Projects as candidates to YTAA 2018 before February 22.

YTAA counts with the support of Creative Europe as an extension of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award, the European Cultural Centre (ECC) as local partner in Venice, World-Architects as Founding Partner and the participation of Jung, Jansen and USM.
